Little Story Shapers is a company which has been created, designed and is run by, Sarah Morgan. When her daughter was born she was inspired to follow her dream and build her own storytelling and drama business…
I am a Mum of 2 and a fully qualified Primary School teacher with 12 years experience working with children from Reception to Year 6. I have a masters degree in Drama and have combined these two qualifications and passions to create Little Story Shapers. My teaching experience mixed with my love for Drama creates this truly unique class, which inspires little ones imaginations whilst promoting a love of reading and stories.
I love nothing more than seeing a little one in my class exploring and creating their own ideas. The most rewarding part of my job is being able to see the smiles on children’s faces when they have thoroughly enjoyed a story, which we have brought to life together. Hearing from parents about how their children have gone home and continued to play and talk about what they have been up to in class is what I strive to achieve. I hope that everyone makes lasting memories as you enjoy your precious time together.
“I can’t remember a time when I haven’t loved reading and exploring new books! Becoming a mum to my two little ones was an exciting time for me to show them my passion for reading and instill a love of books in them from the moment they were born.
I believe reading from a young age opens so many new doors and opportunities for little ones. I feel so privileged to become a Class Leader for Little Story Shapers, where I will get to create magic and spark imaginations by sharing a journey together as we sit down and read new stories.
I attended lessons with Sarah for my children, and I have many fond memories of seeing the wonder in their eyes as she brought stories to life. My daughter would be found at the front, sitting on her lap, soaking it all in. This memory was recreated when I had my interview. A little girl came and sat on my lap, and we began our storybook journey together. It was in that moment that I knew I was so eager to become part of the team!
I have many years of experience working with children, from being a former Scout Leader, volunteering abroad for disadvantaged children, to teaching karate lessons and caring for children with special educational needs. I also have a first class honours degree in Natural Sciences. I can’t wait to share my enthusiasm and love of reading with all of you!”
Catherine is a Mum of 2, has a BA Hons degree in Early Years development and has been a Primary School Teacher for the past 8 years, working with children aged 0-6.
“This experience has taught me the importance of reading for enjoyment for early childhood development and as a mum I have also seen the importance of reading with my 2 girls from day dot. Bedtime snuggles are one of our favourite times of the day, not only for boosting their imagination but for fun, laughter and bonding time. After attending Little Story Shapers classes with my girls, I knew it was something I would love to be involved with. I am passionate about reading and I love running Little Story Shapers classes.”
All children are made to feel welcome at Little Story Shapers, where they are free to explore and use their own imaginations. Children are encouraged to take inspiration from others and elements of children’s explorative, imaginative play are incorporated into the whole session.
Siblings are also welcome at Little Story Shapers in order to allow families to have fun together.
Little Story Shapers has been designed by a qualified primary school teacher with over 10 years of experience in supporting children with special educational needs. Classes are tailored to meet all children’s abilities allowing every child to feel valued, build their confidence, shape their creativity and boost their communication skills.

It's so thoughtfully designed and is a great way to keep them loving stories, whilst also introducing sign language. Been coming with my daughter since she was a few months old and it's our favourite baby class by far. Her little face lights up when she sees Sarah, who is really friendly and interactive and she has gained so much confidence in this class. She is now obsessed with story time and I would recommend this class to any mamas :) Vanessa Abankwah9 July 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were recommended Little Story Shapers by a friend and have loved every single session. Sarah is incredible with the children and brings every story to life through song and opportunities for play. It has been lovely to watch my son grow in confidence, enjoy class routines and explore a wide range of books all whilst having fun with friends. We look forward to our Wednesdays every week - thank you Sarah ! Val Goszka9 July 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been attending 2 different classes of LSS with three of my grandchildren for about a year now. They all love it, and so do I. Lots of learning through play and storytelling. Both Sarah and Elaine are wonderful at leading the classes and everybody is very friendly - mums, dad, and grandparents. Every week is a different book, with great music, songs and props. Jemma Fowler9 July 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I started Little Story Shapers with my little girl when she was around 4 & a half months (now 14 months). As a first time mum, full of anxiety, I was very nervous to attend but I instantly felt more at ease the moment the first class started! We have attended both the Springfield & Beaulieu sessions & Sarah, Cat & Elaine are all very warm & welcoming ladies. The balance of a relaxed approach but also incredibly well planned sessions is so beneficial for both of us! We look forward to attending every week to see her little friends & catch up with the other mummies. Little Story Shapers will always be a special part of my motherhood journey 🥰 Grace Hull9 July 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot recommend Little Story Shapers enough! I found Sarah's classes through searching for more reading-based baby classes, but what Sarah delivers is so much more! Sign language, sensory play, drama, world building all while bringing books to life and instilling a love of reading. My little girl loves the classes (as do I - they're actually really fun for the parents), and even though I am going back to work I have organised things so that I can continue bringing her as I just think they're so beneficial. Thank you, Sarah! Samantha Button9 July 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We look forward to this class every week! The mix of sensory play and reading along with a story book really set this apart from other classes. I love the mixture of modern books, and childhood classics! Florence has absolutely loved this class, it has been fantastic to watch her confidence grow each week crawling around and exploring all the toys and props. Thank you to everyone for being so friendly, it’s always hard joining a new class but everyone has been so warm and welcoming, it’s a lovely atmosphere.
